DROP-IN GROUP ENDING
After 6 years and 300 meetings, the MMRC Sunday night drop-in men’s support group will have its final meeting Sunday, March 16th, 2008. While this is a loss for all of us, it is also a time for moving on to new things. In that spirit you will find below an (incomplete) list of alternative resources for men in the Monadnock area:

Every Sunday evening since June of 2002, the MMRC has sponsored a free confidential drop-in support group in Keene open to all men. From 7pm to 9pm at 25 Roxbury Street in Keene (the new LifeArt Center location, next to Aubuchons Hardware) a different group of men, some returning, some new, meet in a safe space to speak from the heart. Men come who are in crisis, who feel isolated, or who are simply curious about what speaking honestly with men might be like. Men return because they find a place they can talk and listen and be themselves. Please join us!
MMRC support groups are modeled after groups held for many years at the Men's Resource Center of Western Mass and other men's organizations. They are not therapy groups and are not a substitute for therapy. Each group is facilitated by two trained volunteer facilitators. If you are interested in volunteering to be part of our Facilitator Team please see our To Volunteer page.
For more information on our support group you can read our brochure. And please print and post our flyer where ever men may see it. (These documents are PDF format so you may need to install the free Acrobat Reader software).
